The Millionaire JV & varsity softball teams hosted Shikellamy on Thursday, 4/30 at Millionaire Mountain.  In the 1st game, the Millionaire varsity softball team defeated Shikellamy 10-0 in 5 innings.  Leading the offense’s 12-hit attack was Kinsley Cannode, Emma Vollman, and Bella Reddy with 2 hits, and Brenna Beck, Zaelana Minor (home run), Payton Pennycoff, Ashlyn Robinson, Kate Solomon, and Brynlee Engel adding 1 hit each. Everyone in the batting lineup had at least one hit.  Ashlyn Robinson pitched the complete game 1-hitter for the win, striking out 6. 

In the night cap, the Millionaire JV team defeated Shikellamy 15-0.  Brielle Thorton and Maslyn Hess led the offense with 2 hits each, with Abby Swigart and Aviana Schwanbeck each adding a hit.  Brielle Thorton pitched the shutout for the Millionaires, striking out 8. 

The Millionaire varsity and JV softball teams next game is on Saturday, 5/2 at Tunkhannock,  playing at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, respectively.
